École De Conduite LaSalle (henceforth “we”, “us”, “our”, “the School”) operates https://www.ecoledeconduitelasalle.com (henceforth the “Website”). This page contains information on our policies relating to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information we receive from users of the Website.

Personal information refers to any information relating to a living person which can allow that person to be identified, either directly or indirectly.

We may collect personal information as well as cookie data to improve the Website and to provide you with information and services.

We may use third-party companies to facilitate the operation of the Website or to help us analyze how the Website is used. Driving School Service:

We are located at 1666 Thierry (Suite 100), LaSalle, QC, H8N 2K4.

For those who have signed a written contract with us (and who will henceforth be referred to as “Students”), certain personal information is collected by the School for the purpose of providing educational services, communicating with Students, and ensuring compliance with the law. This information includes:

● Your full name
● Your home address
● Your postal code
● Your date of birth
● Your email address

The Student’s personal information can be shared with the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec in order to make sure that the School complies with the Highway Safety Code, in particular to ensure follow-up on a student’s complaint, when checking the quality of service provided by the School or when assessing the validity of a course attestation.

The School must keep the Student’s file according to the applicable laws and must not get rid of the Student’s file before the end of the 7-year-period following the expiration of the Student’s service contract.

Furthermore, we utilize the services of Colibri Solutions (https://colibrisolutions.ca/) to record Student information as listed above in order to facilitate our provision of services to Students. This third party group has access to your personal information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are prohibited from disclosing or using it for any other purpose.

We are also partnered with Proconduite Driving School to provide motorcycle driving lessons for Students and to that end we share the information listed above with Proconduite Driving School.

In compliance with the Privacy Legislation Modernization Act, Students may request a copy of their personal information that we have recorded, to be delivered by email to the email address we have recorded in their contract.

We take the security of your personal information very seriously. However, it is not possible for any data transmission or storage using the Internet to be 100% secure. In the event of a data breach concerning your information, we will notify the relevant authorities and inform you if you are at risk of serious harm.
